The IFTS DIGI.CRAFT project, funded on the notice of the Tuscany Region for the Higher Technical Education and Training (IFTS) paths in the Mechanical, Chemical- Pharmaceutical, Fashion, ICT, Nautical and Logistics, Tourism and Culture, Paper, Marble in the context of the POR FSE 2014-2020 Axis C Activity C.3.2.1.A., with Centro Sperimentale del Mobile, lead partner, in partnership with the University of the Studies of Florence and Siena, Liceo Artistico Porta Romana and Marioni srl.

8 students who passed the final exams brilliantly and who were entitled to receive from the Tuscany Region the qualification certificate & nbsp; for the ideation, design and design of artistic handicraft products

The project was born from the awareness that the competitiveness of the figure of craftsmanship was increasingly linked to the ability to reconcile traditional knowledge and digital skills, such as 3D printing, sensors, internet of things, augmented and virtual reality, big data, storytelling innovative. For the new craftsman, a knowledge of evolutionary scenarios and the possibility of maturing skills linked to the ability to activate collaborations with specialized figures capable of guaranteeing the necessary skills and tools is therefore essential.
