DID participates in EU projects to develop, together with international partners, training tools, methods and profiles that are suitable for stimulating competitiveness in the interior sector and innovative structures for the sector.
Project INTRIDE – Erasmus + 2019 KNOWLEDGE ALLIANCE
Soft, Digital and Green Skills for Smart Designers: the designer as an innovation element for small and medium-sized enterprises in manufacturing. The aim of the project is to co-create a Joint Curriculum for designers (starting from creative skills) with the addition of digital skills, green and especially soft aims to create a balanced set of knowledge in order to meet the needs of the labour market.
Project FACET – Erasmus + 2018 STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
The main objective of FACET is to develop new and innovative training methods to strengthen creativity and entrepreneurship in the mobile sector, improving the ability to generate new ideas, and turning ideas into actions in order to create new products/services/real and value business models.
Project OD&M – Erasmus + 2016 KNOWLEDGE ALLIANCE
Project that aims to support communities of practice around the Open Design & Manufacturing paradigm, taking advantage of openness, sharing and collaboration to create new value chains of innovation in design and production oriented towards social good.
Project IN4WOOD – Erasmus + 2016 SECTOR SKILLS
The mobile furniture sector needs to develop skills in ICT and emerging technologies to employ professionals able to confront new industrial paradigms in terms of process, product and market management. IN4WOOD has developed a specific curriculum for Industry 4.0 skills related to the sector.
The European Union promotes industrial change through its industrial policy and through research and infrastructure funding for a wide range of projects. The IN4WOOD project specifically aims to bring this fourth revolution into the European furniture industry.
Project TEMPUS – 3D Design for the sustainable development of local artisanal products.
