COURSE DAR: REPORT AND STUDIES

The IFTS DAR – design techniques for AR RV (Project code: 301966 Registration No. 2023IS0233), financed by RT with ESF resources, was concluded on 12th and 13th September 2024 with the examinations, the attached report was written by the internal course coordinator who started the preparation for the dissemination of project results in April 2024 until reaching the end of the post exam course and post-acquisition of the results and updated CVs.

The project, presented and managed by a partnership composed of CENTRO SPERIMENTALE DEL MOBILE, head of the project, UNIVERSITÀ DEGLI STUDI DI FIRENZE, UNIVERSITÀ DEGLI STUDI DI SIENA, ISTITUTO GIOVAGNOLI and MEDIACROSS SRL, aimed to train a senior technician who, in the production of furniture and furnishings and more generally in the interior design industry, collaborates on the definition of models and prototypes by using the most advanced design and processing techniques, with particular regard to augmented reality tools and more generally to Industry 4.0 innovations.

Related objective was to contribute to the competitive growth of the business in the sector also in an international context through the efficiency of the production chain thanks to the decisive contribution of innovative technologies and the contribution of qualified human resources through specialist training courses.
